domain integration. Holistic integrative pharmacy is guided by a holistic view and a new type of theory and

practice system that broadens the field of pharmacy research through multidisciplinary approach. Comprehensively

understanding the profound connotation of holistic integrative pharmacy and applying it to disease prevention and

treatment will help to promote the development of modern pharmacy, reform pharmacy education, and improve

people's health.

HIP education,we propose five strategies to design a program for cultivating HIP professionals. The following

strategies are believed to offer a reference for domestic and foreign educational community counterparts to explore

the suitable cultivation mode for HIP professionals. These strategies entail establishment of a multidisciplinary

teaching team, reconstruction of teaching organization structure, design and integration of the curriculum system,

construction of textbooks, and the shift of teaching and examination mode.

[Abstract] Continuous advances in "omics" technologies have brought toxicogenomics into sharp focus in the

medical community. Toxicogenomics has been increasingly utilized in studies of the safety of traditional Chinese

medicine (TCM). Toxicogenomic technology, which assesses the systematic changes of the body upon exposure

to toxins at the genome-wide level, has been extensively adopted in studies that are concerned with identifying

toxicity biomarkers and investigating mechanisms and predictions of toxicity. This study concisely summarizes

the present status of toxicogenomics and highlights its current applications in TCM safety by discussing the

mechanism of TCM toxicity, the identification of potential biomarkers studies on of toxicity, and the examination

of toxicity dynamics pertinent to drug compatibility.

This technology has not only revolutionized the manufacturing industry but has also changed all aspects of the

medical field. As General Secretary Xi put emphasis on the strategic position of putting peoples' health as a priority,

along with giving priority to the development of medical and health services and the establishment of the "Holistic

Integrative Pharmacy" alliance in 2017, the integration of pharmaceutical development and modern emerging

technologies will become an unstoppable new trend. This paper reviews the development and applications of 3D

printing technology in China. In addition, we discuss the prospects and development trends of 3D printing in the

field of pharmacy to provide a reference for the research and applications of 3D printing technology.

Methods The traditional Chinese medicine systems pharmacology (TCMSP) database was employed to screen

for potential active components and associated target proteins of Achyranthes bidentata. Genecards and OMIM

database were used to predict the effector targets of osteoarthritis. The UniProt database was used to search

for the corresponding gene names. The compound osteoarthritis target network and protein–protein interaction

(PPI) network for Achyranthes bidentata were built using Cytoscape and String software. The Bioconductor

data package was used in R to evaluate GO biological function enrichment and KEGG pathway enrichment, and

the effective components and targets of Achyranthes bidentata in the treatment of osteoarthritis were acquired.

Results Twenty key active components of Achyranthes bidentata were acquired by screening the TCMSP

database. Overall, 106 targets are common effector targets of major chemical component-chemical component

effector targets and osteoarthritis therapeutic target-osteoarthritis. 84 PPI core genes were acquired, and these

participate in modulating 23 signaling pathways, such as the IL-17 signal pathway, TNF signal pathway, HIF-

1 signal pathway, apoptosis, and other signaling pathways. Conclusion Achyranthes bidentata treatment of

osteoarthritis is a multi-component, multi-target, and multi-pathway complex process involving multiple targets

associated to the coordinated modulation of signaling pathways.

Lingnan, China and nearby regions, have definite medicinal effects, and are produced locally. Based on the data

provided by Guangzhou Kangmei Smart Pharmacy, the authors of this study cross-analyzed the actual amount

of use and the research hotspot of the drugs from the collected data and found and studied the drugs with high

research value. The purpose of this study was to clarify the relationship between the research hotspot and the actual

amount of use of the drugs, reveal the deviation between the using status of Lingnan native medicinal materials

and the experience of famous Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) doctors, and to provide supporting data and

explore possible directions for the development and utilization of Lingnan native medicinal materials.

of Chinese herbal medicine decoction commissioned by hospitals, make the management more efficient, ensure

the medication safety in patients, and increase patients' trust in the quality of commissioned decoction. Methods

Using the hospital information system, informatization management was used in each link of the whole process,

from doctor's prescription to patients' receival of the commissioned decoction. Results The informatization

transformation exceeded the information barrier among hospitals, patients, and commissioned decoction institution

and has enabled pharmacists to handle the commissioned decoction more efficiently. The number of patients

choosing commissioned decoction has significantly increased, whereas the number of complaints regarding the

quality of the commissioned decoction immensely decreased. The comparative analysis of the data before and after

informatization showed statistical significance (P<0.05). Conclusion Informatization is an effective method for

the quality management of commissioned decoction of Chinese herbal medicine.
